First I need to be clear. I have not hosted with SiteCloud, but it requires this to be answered.

I've checked around, (and around and around!!) reading as many web site reviews, for many different web hosts as possible, and decided to go with SiteCloud for hosting my web site.

So I e-mailed them 3 questions, (they were very prompt responding!), but they only answered 1 of the 3.

So I reread my original e-mail and thought maybe my questions weren't clear enough? or maybe they thought they weren't questions?, and e-mailed them again.

Again they were very prompt responding, but I still only received 1 out of 2 answers......so now I'm hesitant about paying the high price for a 'month-to-month' fee to see if we suit, prior to paying for a longer, locked-in lower monthly fee.

They were very nice, but I decided to try another host on a month-to-month basis. (for now, anyway)

I have to say I'm really disappointed.

I really wanted to try SiteCloud. They look like a really good company, (yes I've read ALL the below reviews, more then once), but I have yet to read as many 'good' reviews for any other web host, here and on a lot of other sites, and I've been looking off and on since Feb. 2010 for another web hosting company to use. They're young and growing and willing to admit (read the reviews!) when things aren't right, and willing to fix them.

But, on the other hand, I don't want to have to send a bunch of e-mails when 1 should've done.

I am a 'needs 101 web site for idiots' newbie (even after 2 yrs with prior hard-to-work-with web host), and am trying to find a site that is 'user friendly' that I can stay with for the long haul. I figured 'cpanel/cloud', what could be better? I still feel that way.

So, still thinking (hard) about SiteCloud.

In the past I have responded to all of our negative reviews on this web site with a detailed follow up on the issues as we saw it at GreenGeeks and why we may have had a certain policy or situation which turned into a problem for our clients or for ourselves or for both parties. One thing that I have tried to do through these responses is to show consumers that we are a company (including myself) who cares about all our customers and that we work hard to make sure that all our customers' needs are met.

I hope that my past responses will give you an idea as to who we are as a company and the lengths we go to work with our customers. I will not be going into a detailed response on this person's negative review but I hope my past responses will show you that I do give a darn about what happens around here.

In web hosting, as with any industry, there are some businesses & individuals' requirements which we cannot support. Sometimes these cases will create disputes between GreenGeeks and some of our customers and some of these disputes find themselves here. In every case we work to be as fair to the customer as possible and to help them resolve their case with us or to assist them to move to a different type of provider.

As you will find in my past responses, in every case I have left my email, [email protected] and have asked that any customer who has an issue with our company and cannot find a resolution with our technical staff or our quality assurance team should contact me directly and I will get involved to make sure that any client's needs are met or that we do everything we can to assist the client and help them get to the right solution for them, sometimes for instance a client will need a dedicated server and we refer them to our server co-location center.

I hope that this entry to this client's criticism, while not directly speaking of their situation and our resolution will serve as an indicator of what as a company we can do for your web hosting needs and our attention to going the extra mile to service our clients.
