Poor customer service
I tried calling in tonight for a couple of fairly basic questions, but was unable to get anyone on the line to help after calling twice and waiting on hold until I realized nobody was ever going to pick up... So I tried the online chat. Oh boy, what fun!
I am a very articulate and considerate person, and had two simple and fairly direct questions to ask in the chat session. Before I could fully explain my first question, I was abruptly disconnected. Hmm, that's strange. I didn't seem to hit any buttons to make this happen... Maybe I'm not being as direct as this tech geek dude wants me to be... or maybe the connection was simply lost (either way, it doesn;t say much for a web hosting company does it?:P). I guess I'll just try again and try to be as direct, polite and thankful as possible. That should work.
NOPE! When I tried the second time, I was actually able to get my first question answered, but I guess that's all that they figured that they owed me, because I was then cut off for a second time, and when I tried to start up a 3rd chat session (my 5th attempt at trying to get my 2 simple questions answered regarding their poorly designed cpanel) I was unable to. The reason? "EXTRAORDINARILY HIGH VOLUME"
...or maybe it's just because everybody is having problems with their terrible service, and nobody is around to answer all the endless questions despite the advertised 24/7 tech support.
Needless to say, I won't be renewing my service.
