GreenGeeks sucks bad

GreenGeeks is an appropriate name for this web developing company. GreenGeeks lack the ability to properly respond to customer’s questions and requirements, making them inexperienced in dealing with the customer in an appropriate manner.

I requested a full refund from GreenGeeks and was offered a partial credit of $100.00 by Josh Dargie, GreenGeeks Support Manager, [email protected]. The full amount charged was for $148.20. The balance according to Josh Dargie was for processing fees associated with the account. I responded to Mr. Dargie that I would require the charge be reversed and to have the credit show on my Visa account on or before close of business 05/02/12. The credit was not done as requested and did not show on my Visa account until 05/04/12. This was not in accordance with my request for a short or partial refund. This clearly shows their inability to handle requests from their customers.

In my case I was contacted by an automated response that my credit would be processed within 72 hours on 05/02/12 at 1212 AM, and again at 1113 on 05/02/12. This is less than twelve hours and not allowing for the three to five days reported by George Saunders on 05/02/12 at 0717. Greg F. contacted me on 05/02/12 at 1113 with the same three to five days processing time.

The bottom line is that the refund was received on 05/04/12 and the partial refund was seen on my Visa account at 0615 on 05/04/12. The automated responses and the constant emails from GreenGeeks did not allow for the three to five days to lapse before closing their ticket. The ticket was closed on 05/03/12 before my Visa account was credited to my account.

I find this lack of consistency between the employees of GreenGeeks shows their inability to properly communicate with the customer and also shows their lack of experience in dealing with the customer.

My recommendation is not to use GreenGeeks for anything and seek out other web developing companies as they lack the experience in properly handling customer requests.
