Don't be tempted, like we were, by the guarantee, bandwidth or storage, because if your experience was like ours, you won't be able to use any of them.
The control panel was from hell, if you could ever access it. Whenever we tried to login the servers would not respond. FTP was totally inadequate, like dial up on a cable modem. We even got a letter from the big boss, Vladislav Davidzon, making excuses for their recent poor performance. Say what?!?
Forget Solar, these guys must use guinea pigs. The only Wind was the canned answers to our refund request. They flatly denied on the basis that we specifically waived our right to "service levels" as a reason for refund. They say they only warrant their advertising to be true, even though their ads are based on service levels and warranties ...but they're waived and so not warranted... and around and around she goes.
Thought at my age I'd seen it all and could avoid, in hindsight, these transparent ploys, but I got sucked in again. I can only hope my credit card company sees it my way, but I'm not hopeful because these clever people know the chargeback language and they have it set up just right. [import from thinkhost.com]
