Very good, but with some shortcomings
If you are looking for a free hosting for your website, you will not be disappointed with 000webhost.com's free plan. It allows you to work with PHP, HTML, CSS, MYSQL, and, as far as I know, has no code restrictions. I was able to upload all code I wanted. I could reliably work with its database and easily access it via PHP. I also could send up to 50 automatic emails every day using swift.
On the other hand, I had some drawbacks... When you have a free plan, you know your website will be offline during 1 hour per day.. that's ok.. But, although they claim you can change when your website will sleep, I wasn't able to use this setting (the time frame never updates). The file manager is also not that smart.. You cannot upload a folder with its contents... You can only upload files.. and only 5 at once! This takes a looooot of time if you have to upload lots of files. Also, the file editor is not good at all.. it mess with your code, is very small, has no features... It is useless!
At the end, for a free plan it is good.. lets you create and upload everything you need for develop a complete website... The overall experience was good.
