The core of the Hanover AITI Company began in 1994, in partnership with IRENTE and its BBS system. After the launch of the first textual network in southeastern Iran, then its connection to the Sharif network and then the creation of a port to the underlying text of that time, such as Karaj Automation Network (Abedi), became one of the most popular BBSs of the time. In 1995, with the provision of Internet access, it was equipped with the TCP-IP protocol as the third BBS of Iran and began to provide email to its users.هسته اولیه شرکت هانوفر آی‌تی در سال ۱۹۹۴ میلادی با همکاری با شرکت ایرنت و سیستم BBS آن آغاز شد. پس از راه اندازی اولین شبکه متنی در جنوب‌شرق ایران و سپس اتصال آن به شبکه شارع و سپس ایجاد درگاه به شبکه‌های تحت متن آن زمان نظیر شبکه ماشین‌سازی کرج (عابدی) به یکی از محبوب ترین BBSهای آن زمان تبدیل شد. در سال ۱۹۹۵ میلادی و با توجه به ایجاد دسترسی به اینترنت، به عنوان سومین BBS ایران به پروتکل TCP-IP مجهز شده و اقدام به ارائه پست‌الکترونیک به کاربران خود نمود.
در سال ۲۰۰۴ میلادی و پس از کسب تجربه‌های فراوان هانوفر آی‌تی به شکل رسمی فعالیت خود را آغاز نمود.
هانوفر نام یک شهر در آلمان میباشد که به دلیل برگزاری نمایشگاه سبیت (Cebit) در آن و همچنین اکسپو 2000 شناخته شده میباشد. دلیل انتخاب نام هانوفرای تی ، فعالیت بنیانگذاران این شرکت در طول تحصیل در دیتاسنترهایی هایی نظیر Server service gmbh و ... واقع در شهر هانوفر میباشد.
در حال حاضر این شرکت در شاخه های مختلف مانند تولید انواع بردهای مخابراتی ، تولید انواع سیستم های مبتنی بر اینترنت اشیاء با شرکت هایی نظیر مخابرات ایران ، ارتباطات سیار و ... همکاری دارد و برای یکی از محصولات خود موفق به دریافت نشان شرکت خلاق از معاونت علمی و فناوری ریاست جمهوری گردید.
