I've hosted with them for over six years. This Adam guy says I must have been in India when I apparently accepted a 12 month agreement because it was accepted by someone in India. I've never been to India. Instead of cancelling my month to month agreement, they charge my credit card $2,680 for 9 months of future hosting that I didn't agree to. This Adam guy then rights some jibberish about how he has wasted enough time with me after stealing $2,680. Truly unbelievable.

😠 I have hosted my store during 10 years on magemojo, last month i decided to close my store at the end of december. They play with me by adding an extra charge of $25. When i saw that credit card has been charged they forced me to accept a new agreement when connecting to my account. so i choose month to month payment for the last month
and this is why they charged the S25 extra-cost but they have done that before accepting the new agreement. When i claimed the refund of $25 i have received this response

😁 I've tried 5 hosting providers during last 3 years. Everyone had some positive and negative sides, but my main goal was high uptime. Magento2 requires quite much resources, so I had problems with other hosting providers even when I paid $300/mo for a dedicated server. $98 starter plan with Autoscale on Magemojo Stratus did the trick finally. My uptime got close to 100%, and no 'bad gateway' errors anymore.
Support is better than expected for the cheap plan. They solve my problems and teach me to admin my site effectively. I became junior system administrator learning basics of Linux, php, mysql etc by now, though I had no need in such thing with other providers. Quite funny side effect.
But taking my main goal into account I'm almost fully satisfied with Magemojo. They offer the best quality/features for the money among all providers I tried so far.
Support is better than expected for the cheap plan. They solve my problems and teach me to admin my site effectively. I became junior system administrator learning basics of Linux, php, mysql etc by now, though I had no need in such thing with other providers. Quite funny side effect.

😁 Absolutely superb support service. They always respond within SLAs and with a wonderful friendly attitude, backed up with deep magento knowledge. We pay extra to have our site using servers in Sydney Australia, runs very fast for our location with a very resource heavy website. We have had speed issues in the past which have been solved by tweaking services, which Magemojo were always willing to help with and keep going until we found the answer.

😠 Worst hosting company ever! I'm happy I can finally post my honest feelings about this company since Magemojo clearly fakes the reviews on other review sites (I tried to rate them multiple times and my 1* review won't get published).
Like so many others, we had hosted our site on a dedicated server with them for years until we were forced to switch to their new Stratus Cloud servers. The problems began immediately, until one day our entire website went down including the backup.
We had to restore our website from a local backup that was 8 months old because we never accounted for the possibility that our backup would go down with the website due to a misconfiguration of the server. It almost cost me my business!
Also, the way they handed the entire issue was an absolute nightmare. There was no way to get a hold of anyone, and when we finally did they "restarted" our server again which caused the updates from 2+ full-time days to disappear AGAIN!!! I'm getting angry just thinking [read more...]

😠 I do not recommend this company at all. I have been with them for a year. I have used rack space in the past and never had an issue. i would say my website has gone down at least 5 times. It is either hardware issue or outage. REGARDLESS, this is 2019 and this is a 1998 type problem. An ecommerce stie cannot go down EVER. It is down right now since late last night. How can an ecommerce company grow? Answer, it cant with Magemojo. Additionally the site always seems to be slow. Customers constantly call us that it is slow. I could go on, but I am calling them to see when the hell we will be up. This is just unacceptable.

😠 while the magemojo worked with dedicated servers, I never had problems. However, they forced me to switch to the new service, STRATUS, with the promise that it would be better. It sucks, the server goes down all the time and I lose a lot of sales. You do not have to believe me, just view the status of the server https://status.magemojo.com/ or check http://prntscr.com/mu4ofq. They use an excellent server, amazon, and even then they live in trouble, no logic! For the high price and the quality of the support that has greatly decreased, it is much better to hire Amazon directly.

😠 Has been with MageMojo since 2017. Multiple down events on a dedicated server over the years. Recently told that no more physical servers and you have to move to the new cloud solution. Was sold on it and has now experienced 3 down events in less than 2 months. The latest and current even was catastrophic which wiped all of our data forboth of my sites. The volumes with backups were lost too. Support is unreachable via phone and will not call back with any real solution...The worst experience I could ever imagine. Buyer beware.

🗨 Hello Saureen! Sorry to read you had issues with our hosting. I investigated your case. I see that your server was being attacked with a layer 7 dos exhausting resources on your VDS. Our support received alerts and proactively responded by blocking the attack. If you frequently see (d)dos attacks then I suggest switching from a VDS to our Mojo Stratus AWS Cloud. Mojo Stratus has unlimited cpu autoscaling. It also has layer 4-7 ddos protection. It will absorb and block these types of attacks without costing you any fees or downtime.
