😠 don't waste your money and your time by using photonvps. I had bad experience in the past with photon vps . I did'nt the vps yes coz still developing the website at that time , the the the VPS was suspended, I contacted support staff and they said , I reached the bandwidth quota and would be normal again in the next month :)
I checked the bandwidth usage is only 1% , and I still didn't use that vps, I told them that .
And finally the staff said : The vM is back online again, check for your side.

😠 keep away photonvps
photonvps network is very unstable, often disconnected, asking for a refund, was rejected by various reasons, very bad service, not a good choice, choose photonvps is a mistake.
The server is often disconnected, and customer service replies are always the same as the robots repeat the contents of your answer, check your routing, check your ip, I do not understand these, I just need a stable vps only, do I want to become A technical expert?

😠 photonvps buyer beware! Slimy bait and switch, terrible customer service.
I purchased a hosting service plan. Service did not work reliably. I opened multiple trouble tickets. Finally canceled and did not get my money back
I purchased their hosting vps plan for windows 2012 on 11-1-16 prepaid for the whole year. First complaint sent on 11-16-16 Ticket ID: #234312. Thakare D. L2 support engineer. He responded saying it is working fine. Following few reboots it went back to normal. The server keeps freezing, getting stuck, and we're not able to connect. Next complaint sent 12-1-16 Ticket ID: #234312. hard disk is full even though nothing was installed on it from our end. Manish P. Technical Support suggested we upgrade. I did not like the slimy approach of bait and switch. They sell you a package that they know will not work, drag you for over 30days till the money back is expired and then you're stuck with upgrade or losing the money. I will not stand for that. 😠 What a shitty provider. I ordered a VPS and their system didn't accept my creditcard. I then decided to try with my Paypal and it worked. Expected a welcome email but after 6 hours still nothing. Opened a case with support - they sent it on to billing without even explaining. I then opened a case with their sales department. 12 hours later still no reply from no-one. Finally I opened a new case with support to close and refund my account. Never never again. Big warning!

😁 Photon has been in vps business for a long time now and I am glad to see they are still going strong. I am very techy, so I rarely had to get in touch with them for support. However, when I did need support, they were always there and I would get a response within 30 minutes or less. if you care about support along with stability, photonvps is the right company.

I've had the best uptime with them than any other cloud/vps hosting provider i've been with. Support is always fast even when its something they don't normally cover. I've been with them for about a year and look forward to another good year with them.

We've been customers for several months and have had numerous issues with downtime and being moved from node to node. If you complain enough they'll move you to a node that works, and then when you try to get credit for the downtime (as per their 99.999% downtime guarantee) their VP, Jimmy, will try to back out.
After I complained about being down for over 2 days and 2 hours, he offered to move us to a dedicated server from the same company at nearly 3x the price. When I finally agreed to do it, provided the service credits due on the VPS side be transferred, he wouldn't.
The service is flat out RUDE. The techs are all mostly overseas and have no idea what ticket they're working on. They admitted numerous times that their Cloud controllers were bad and they were still fixing them.
My options given from Jimmy were:
1. Two months free on SSD Cloud 3, we'll need to re-create this VM and all data will be lost and new IPs assigned.

🗨 Both of these options were very good given the 2 day downtime you experienced during our latest Cloud update. As I mentioned in the ticket the first option we needed to re-create this VM to another part of the Cloud due to instability in the current one. We wouldn't you to experience any further downtime after giving you 2 months free.

😠 PhotonVPS almost non existent support
I recently got a server with PhotonVPS and i`ve had nothing but trouble trying to setting up a website.
Firstly there are no nameservers provided to repoint the domain name (which isn't too much of a worry as we did it via MX records)
Once the domain name was pointing to the server we could not login via FTP - a support ticket was submitted - FTP access was granted but no matter what folder we uploaded a test html file too we could not see anything other than a dummy hosting page.
After 3 days now and countless replies i am still no further forward. This is hopeless
I'd not recommend these guys for the following reasons
a) support ticket response is slow
b) not reliable
c) they expect everyone to be an expert and understand there replies
DO NOT USE THESE GUYS

For affordable vps, PhotonVPS is good company. They offer everything you will need to manage a server without charging crazy prices and support is good. I never encounter any problem with my vps. Highly recommended.

PhotonVPS has been great! My site is constantly online with no downtime. I do not have any major problems that is not dealt with within a matter of minutes. The support team is also very educated and highly trained in this field and makes hosting easy and fun. 😠 I'm a contractor with a company that is doing work for a major company and Photon basically borked our demo. They are unresponsive, do not answer their phones, do not respond to emails, the servers have long delays of unresponsiveness, and when putting in tickets about issues, they close them out instantly. All voicemail boxes (including sales) are full and no one responds.

friendly and efficient at answering my support tickets. I signed up

😁 I signed up for PhotonVPS over VPSland, simply because VPSland is supposed to have horrible service/uptime. Overall, they are pretty good. Ran into some difficulties running the software I wanted to run, but other than that it was fine. Wasn't AMAZING service, but it was fast and quick. Price was decent, there are cheaper, but once again, you get what you pay for.

Not only did they not follow my instructions, they restarted the VPS without notifying us and we lost data.

😠 The VPS is lousy, I have very unhappy experiences.. If the score 1 is worst, and 5 is best I would give it "-100." Yes, negative 100.

😁 PhotonVPS has to be one of the best companies I have ever dealt with. I work in customer service by profession and their support is top-class. All tickets so far have been responded to within 10 minutes - regardless of what time I send them.. Most get answered before I even have chance to log on to my email account, and all get answered by a polite and patient engineer who deals directly with the problem.
Excellent value and activation for most people seems to only take about an hour or less (i've referred a few friends to them who've switched from other providers so I checked on their experiences).
Don't waste any time in signing up as there is no other company that offers this service for this price (or can even come close!). I thought that it looked a bit too good to be true at first, but it seems that somehow they are able to offer this service at this price and still provide excellent support and servers.

After a few days of playing around on SSH and tips the support team provided, I was able to control and understand how a VPS system works. In addition, they were able to help me with some general PCI compliance issues I found with my scanner. Great customer service and support!
For the price of Beam 1, I would never go back to a shared hosting. Now I have so much more control and confidence being supported by this reliable young company.
Additionally, I did not purchase the cPanel. With my general knowledge of Linux and help from the support team, I was able to install only what I wanted.
Overall, I would recommend PhotonVPS to experienced and new VPS users.
