😠 THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE and the Control panels DO NOT ALLOW you to make any changes to your own profile. Not even the phone number. EVERYTHING you have to call them and NOBODY PICKS UP YOUR CALLS. Even after 20 times. You can raise a ticket but NONE of the actually even read the customer's complaint and do what is requested. Even the smallest issue takes DAYS toresolve. WILL NOT RECOMMEND

😠 If you have domain names in ZnetLive, I suggest you transfer them to other registrar. Znetliive is a terrible domain name registrar, the following are the reasons:

1. Their renewal fee is more higher than the original price when you register or transfer your domain to them.

2. Transferring your domain away from ZnetLive is very hassle. They don't even have any documentation about transferring domain away from ZnetLive. To be able to trigger the transfer, you will need to open a ticket addressing their billing team to request to unlock your domain and get the Authorization code (EPP code). You will consume more than one hour before you get your request.

3. You have to wait at least 30 minutes to get reply from them for your support ticket.

4. If you have updated/modified the WHOIS contact information of your domain, it will be locked for 60 days and transferring it will not be permitted. Other registrar like Godaddy can bypass this 60 lock from modified WHOIS contact [read more...]

My experience with ZNetLive has been great, the dedicated server hosting and email service is totally reliable and trouble-free. I know customers can view my work when they need to. The mail service in particular is faster than some of the 'big' name providers and I've never had a mail delay. This makes me feel great when communicating with my customers. I am a another victim of znetlive. There services are so bad. I subscribe there shared hosting plan based on there sales person commitment. once i transferred my website which is fully optimized with Google page speed 90/100. In few days i domain showing error 500 internal server. I contacted them via ticket three time in 10 days duration. I gave them proof that my code is clean and fully optimized. They also agree and resolve my problem. next two working day domain showing same error. I contact with support again but they only giving me solution that i have to migrate my hosting plan shared host to VPS or dedicated solution. It's totally unacceptable and unprofessional. Finally i decided to go with standard host " Hostgator" and i am very happy. So i would like to inform you guys don't go with znetive

😠 Stay away from Znet they are terrible!!
We have very bad experience with this company.

We started hosting with them in 2011 and opted to go in for their platinum plan which promises unlimited everything. Down road they start restricting us to just 20 emails for every 5 minutes and once that is hit they will block our emails. When we complain they will try to sell me an upgrade to their VPS plan. We refused at first insisting that the limitation they introduce was not part of our initial agreement. They will enable the emails for a few days only to disable it again. We finally agreed to upgrade to the VPS in December 2012.
From the first date of starting to use the new plan we found that the mail IP address that we were assigned was blocked by yahoo mail for suspected spam mails. We raised a ticket on the 8th January 2013 and after hearing some many excuses, they finally demanded that we have to pay 2400 rupees to get another IP address. Can you imagine!!! 😠 THE WORST HOSTING ON THE PLANET - ZNET
They simply are a pain in the neck. They said their chat support are available 24x7 but what is the use, they will ask you to raised a ticket for a simple problem. HostGator guys provide assistance through Chat support, why can’t ZNet do the same instead of asking to raise ticket for a simple problem? I purchased a Gold hosting with them. Everything was fine for the first month and after that, a total chaos. I had to raised a ticket whenever i had to add a subdomain or an addon domain. I have to wait like 4/5 hours to add a subdomain/addon domain, coz i have to raised a support ticket and wait for their reply. How ridiculous it can be than this? Do i need to write more?
My email was not working on Mozilla Thunderbird and asked for their help, as it was some server related. But they didn’t give a satisfactory reply. 😠 If I say Worst Hosting Company, I will be modest.
I think ZNet is the worst in the Industry. Any web hosting company in Nepal provides a better service.

They have a pathetic team. In fact when I was in Jaipur, I visited them and ask to meet Munesh Jadoun, CEO. They refused and told he is not in yet.

All the team members I met was under-graduate kids, chewing tobacco all the time.

😠 znetlive is the worst
1) They don't specify the CPU being given for the VPS.
2) Validate the VPS configuration carefully after ordering, they may cheat by giving a lower configuration.
3) Their customer service is absolutely pathetic. They will shut down the VPS without warning and cause business and revenue losses.
4) The load many people on same vps and outages are frequent.
5) They never give proper resolution or root cause of why server goes down. They have a restart trigger friendly support team, who just know how to restart servers.
6) The technical knowledge is very limited. Don't go for your critical applications on their vps.
7) They are resellers of softlayer! They don't actually own the servers.
8) They pick and chose the reviews to put on their website. Negative reviews are not posted!

😁 Unmatched performance
Looking at reviews and negative remarks of Znet, actually gives me a feeling that their competitors are now using gimmicks to counter them. I have been linked to them for high end requirements and have found to be par beyond expectations. There might be some cases where people are not satisfied and it happens with all. But some of reviews show the errors or technical slags at user end.

😠 Got all my website's index pages deleted.
I wonder who would do such a thing as deleting all the index pages(such as index.html/index.php) while not touching any other file of the websites. I am a security conscious and always use more than 12 characters(mixed) length password, never reveal these to anyone. Haven't given the control to anyone. I gave FTP access of a website to a colleague of mine, but that had limited access only to a particular folder and not the root folder.

Main question is who would have the access other than me to be able to access all the root folders of the websites and delete all the index pages?

And, why would anybody delete the index pages and not touch anything else? Other than harrassing me, I dont think there is any other motive for anybody to delete the index pages of some sample websites, which are valueless and almost non-functional.

I wonder... let your imagination go wild. Think about it and let me know what is your opinion.

😠 Business Killer! Worst Hosting Experience
I have had a long relation with ZNet India. Everything was going great! I had even given them nice reviews http://blog.znetindia.com/a-happy-client.html (Now I am regretting it)
Recently they started lacking the edge they used to have. Lacking the Customer care initiative they used to have. Hosting service is worst. Support is bad. Instead of helping you out, they would ask you to troubleshoot the problem on your own.

Server is down many times for one reason or another(I have the proof of this in hyperspin reporting).

They shut down my website-www.tallydev.com(using Wordpress, which is being used for over 25 million websites) earlier saying it is using high resources. So, I installed the latest version, installed only the most updated plugins, using wp-debug=true, I fixed all the debugging notices, and installed W3 Total Cache to ease the pressure on Znet's Server.

My Website(www.tallydev.com) has never received more than 120 visits a day(Google Analytics installed). [read more...]

😠 I would advice never to use znetindia. I have been with them for more than 5 years. their support is just terrible. however, I stayed with them as I didn’t really needed to change my domain registrar and all i had was few domains and no hosting. But recently had to sell 2 websites which required transferring domains to namecheap. even after doing every procedure properly ( EPP code, approval of transfer.. the whole thing ) they still haven’t released the domain.

I called them multiple times, sent countless emails and none of that got sufficient answers or explanations.. just some plain dumb people trying to learn English. heck they can’t even speak properly and I very much doubt if they know anything that they are speaking about.

the next step for me is to get a lawyer and file a complaint against them for sabotaging my business deals and causing monetary loss. I am done with these people.

😠 I would strongly recommend AGAINST buying web hosting from ZNet India. I am a technical consultant for some websites and one of these sites got hacked on 1st December 2010.

I raised an EMERGENCY ticket and telephoned them, they said it takes 7 hours to reply to a ticket. They certainly need to brainstorm what an 'emergency' ticket on a commercial website is.

They don't know what they're speaking and they'll blame you to look after the site. Their staff have NO CLUE what they're talking. This is not the first time I've had problems with them by the way!

Please don't throw your money and business in waste - FIND SOME OTHER HOST!

😠 I am very upset with their service. My website has been down since morning (it is 6 pm now), and every time I call they give me conflicting information. Finally, somone just asked me to raise a ticket, which I did. They told me it will take minimum of 4-5 hours, or 6-8 hours to fix this! Are you serious? Who takes this much time in a highly service ad support oriented business like hosting! Are they going to compensate me for all the opportunity income lost at this time,not to mention the bad PR this is generating for me every time my customers log in and see my site is disfunctional.

😠 I refer unlimitedgb.com Becoz customer service and support team have performed beyond expectations for the price of their annual service. I had some major problems in establishing five different domains on their hosting service, which were all caused by my own actions. The support team at UnlimitedGB went through each of my problems, step by step and stayed with me until the issues were solved and rectified. They performed far beyond what I thought anyone would. My issues were fairly complicated regarding my domains, main account and sub accounts. They had to be changed twice and email configurations had to be installed. They did them all in a quick time and in a perfect manner.

Absolutely the worst and most pathetic hosting company in the world!!!!!

I thought I'll buy web hosting from an Indian company as I am Indian, but it turned out to be the worst decision of my life. These guys were very sweet and nice while signing me up and taking my money, but once the money was in their account, they sharted showing their true colours! Bad customer service, non-existent ticket handling, and downright rude phone operators. They don't even know how to talk to customers.

Here are a few points everyone should know about Znet India:

1) Their staff are not adequately trained. Their technical knowledge is POOR.

2) Their staff can't communicate in English.

3) Their ticket handling is HORRIBLY SLOW. It's like an Indian government office. Sir has gone for lunch, call back in 2 hours.

😠 allaround pathetic service. I have my site hosted on Google sites and use CNAME method to call the site from my domain. I wanted my naked domain to be redirected to my www subdomain. A simple 301 redirect which is the least to be expected from a hosting company. Guess what? It doesn't work. I emailed their support team to help me fix it. Guess what, they removed all CNAME entries rendering my site useless. They then added 2 A type records. One forwarding my domain to the www sub domain. The second forwarding the www subdomain to the naked domain. This created a loop! Basis 101 for domain admins. Pathetic pathetic pathetic. I am going to transfer to GoDaddy as soon as the 60 day lock is over.

the ticket system will take atleast 1 day to go 1 step..if u have a problem it will take at least 5 days to get solved..that too while you're in a good luck phase..

no use calling over the phone...some receptionist will pick up..

severe probs with the software gallery...knowledge base is next to nil..

their technical staff is simply astounding..u ask something they answer something else..u write english..they write latin ;)

most of the time these staff guys will put the blame on you for creating some problems..they are right i must say..my bad..i created my biggest prob with my own hands when i invested in them in the first place..now obviously they can say 'hamse liya that ab bhoogto'..plz don't give give them that opportunity..

all in all..i am sorry i ever went for them..better spend the extra buck somewhere else and live with peace of mind..

😞 Horrible company, extremely rude and unprofessional support staff. They will phone you endlessly while promoting something in the hope of extracting money out of you, but once they get the money they'll disappear. Typical sleazy attitude characteristic of Indian Marwaris/Baniyas.

Their prices are always higher than industry norms - Goadddy.com offers cheaper domain registration and hosting with much better features, reliability and support. Znet India is trying to capture the domestic market - those folks who don't have credit cards/can't speak good english and therefore can't get themselves hosting/registration with a good international company.

I hosted my first domain with them for 2 years, then moved elsewhere as their service sucked. Continued registering domains with them, but their support staff have become progressively ruder as time has gone by.

I'm actually going to spend my hard-earned money to transfer my domains away from them.

😠 ZnetIndia is the worst host in India. I hosted with them just for 15 days and got stuck with them. They will not reply you even if you call them. Their support is worst and they dont care about their services. The hosting is worst and the servers are down every week. The FTP disconnects every 2 minutes and we cannot host a wordpress blog with them. When we install wordpress blog , it will say timeout error and does not install. WordPress plugins and themes cannot be installed because their apache server is weak and down. They do not promise their refund policies and they will not respond to any refund requests. I am waiting for them to reply to my refund request. Please dont ever try ZnetIndia. Check for U.S based hosting companies which offer better support and value for money. I have a loss of around 13,000 Rs just because of this stupid dirty company and their service.

I took domain and hosting server both from Znet India. After a few weeks I was unable to log into the control panel even after entering the right login id and password.

I was getting this message: 'we enter the correct username and password. It says ("Wrong user name or password have been specified or account is locked." I can't say how frustrated and angry I was this service I took from Znet.

After few unanswered calls, I got the customer care to sort it out. Must say not only did Znet India's customer support executives coordinates solution of my issue, they also set the true bar of customer care. Congrats Znet India- You rock.

I shall proudly recommend Znet services to everyone. Mumbaikars are you listening!

My ticket number with Znet is GHA-1000-13507 and my website hosted with you is aadititechnosoft.com. I started getting this problem where my mail id was not working. I contacted you and somehow the matter took time to resolve owing to differences in callback time and my availability.

I was not able to connect to outgoing server and the customer helpdesk at once came to my rescue. Their customer care is really fantastic and I was attached with one of the reps who not only assured me of full solution but also kept on the conversation to make me feel comfortable.

The problem of mails not going is finally solved in the shortest time and I am happy. The agent was all very courteous and full of humility and understood how important it was that my mailing mechanism should work.

Initially it seemed pretty good. But after the start of second year everything turned upside down. They did some migration and someone in their technical team screwed up and all my files got locked under the old server and they were not accessible for me.

I was frustrated and phoned them from US. I told them that I am in US at the moment and I need to speak to someone urgently because my website is down. Some lazy attended pickedup the phone said that I need to raise a ticket. I told him that I have raised a ticket already with high priority and there is no response for more than an hour and thats why I called. He said that he will transfer me to his higher official. I told him that I am in an ISD call and consider to connect it asap. He put me on hold. Thats it nobody spoke with me for next half an hour and the phone went dead after that. Hi My name is Anuj and I bought a domain fxcurious.com from Znet Technologies Due to some reason after uploading my site was working real slow and I called them and they promptly corrected the issue.

After a few days, email provisioning could not be done and there were some faults. So I raised a ticket with Znet and was not happy as I could not get any satisfactory response for many hours. Then I dialled there customer relations. Not to mention they apologized deeply and promised me to look into the issue at once. I had threatened them already with a refund request.

My ticket number was 1000-12875 and I must say that Znet team removed all email provisioning faults and made me really happy with their service. They are great!!

😠 I HAD been with Znet India as my host for over 6 years.... That is correct... 6 years. They were very small company when I started out with them. I guess knowing the CEO helped me sort things.
NOW they seem to be too big to listen to any customers. I lost a lot of money due to poor to non-existent support. I have 4 websites hosted with them. It starts as follows:
1. Any ticket is not attended to until 4 or 5hrs.
2. After 4 to 5 hrs. a message says they are looking into it. Which can mean that till upto a month they will not respond.
3. Even writing to their CEO is worthless. He does not care and is too busy.
I moved on to limedomains.com and they are just awesome. Hope I had done that earlier.... I am available for any questions that anyone may have. My site smsCarpool.com was migrated from znetIndia.com to limedomains.com

DO NOT HOST WITH ZNET. I LOST A LOT OF MONEY, TIME and CLIENTS as a webmaster.

If you want anything more than that e.g. .PHP, SQL, SMPT, authorization, database, CSS, CMS, etc., and then these guys don't know what they are doing. They are totally stupid and foolish in PHP, SQL, SMPT, authorization, database, CSS, CMS. My site hosting with them from +15 months And I'm using PHP, SQL from 6 months and it didn't work right for a single day.

Billing team: These people are playing with the work. they do not respond they do not care and we just get auto reply mails as their closing mail for the query submitted, this is actually annoying unprofessional and disturbing.

Support team: Very bad service. No one care about customers. All time new person ask for problem wasting your time & give excuse that the concern person is not there and will assist in Morning and in morning where ever you call them, you got reply that he is in meeting.

😁 I was really fortunate enough to come across ZNET Technologies (formerly ZNET India). I bought five domains from them 2 years back and ever since from renewals, hosting and support, I found them very efficient.

There were occasions when the FTP of one of the sites was down. I used to go and raise a ticket to support team and voila! Most of the time I found somebody acknowledge my request in less than 15 minutes!Isn’t it true customer service?

I agree reaching them on phone on some occasions was difficult, but maybe so because either I got connected to sales or billing queue on error! Overall the service delivery was very fantastic!

On top of it their prices are also very competitive! I spoke with Parikshit, the supervisor who informed me about the Hyper-V technology based VPS. I think I am going to get a VPS setup too from ZNET.

I recommend ZNET to all those who are looking for great value at fabulous prices for domains, shared or dedicated hosting!

😁 I found ZNET through a Google search. I had selected these guys for purchasing a dedicated server.

Last week I had two major problems. One, my server was hacked and, second, database connectivity was real bad and disruptive.

I dialed up the tech team and the technician was very nice and polite. He promised that he would fix the first issue and call me back.

I was amazed when a call landed my office phone in next 45 minutes.
Guess, what I heard—Your system is free from the hacking attack! He told me he had installed a security patch also to thwart any future intrustion attempts.

The support guy resolved the database connectivity issue the same business day. I am overjoyed! Exemplary customer service!

😠 Simple I had a problem. My website was down for more than 2 days. I first mailed them. No reply. I called them at the customer support line they gave it said that the number does not exist. I mailed to the sales team. No reply. I called again at the general hotline for sales someguy answered the phone. He asked me to wait patiently for a reply. 😠 I will be crisp and let the tickets talk. I have been with ZnetIndia for 4 months and am listing the top 3 of my frustrations with this company:

1. LOUSY SUPPORT AND SERVICE: Example: my site remained down for 2 and a half day asking for a server reboot
2. SCARY SECURITY LEVELS: Example: My database has been under hack attack for the last two days and these guys have not even replied after raising multiple tickets
3. IR-RESPONSIVE: Nothing adds much to the frustration more than tickets which are not even answered for hours/days, knowing that there is nothing else you can do, it kills the customer

My Advice:
1. STAY AWAY
2. GET A BIT FARTHER
3. Ok if you still got into the webs of the sales staff (which is pretty good); haggle your price. I haggled a lot.

😁 I have been using znetindia services and their customer relation is excellent. They respond very quickly to the issue and resolve it too. I am thankful to the znet team and happy that I found a good hosting compnay to host with. Will definitely take another domain undre the same hosting

😁 I have used about 34 hosting services including international but i now i m stopping switching bcoz have i got possibly everything in their package. Personally i love Znet bassically for thier after sales
service which really don have any comparision.Best wishes and regards.

Earlier I used Advanced plan on Freehostia.com but I must say that their service is very fluctuating and their servers always had a very high load. Now, I am really happy with CONSISTENT performance and use of LATEST technology here at ZNetIndia. I wish I had come across ZNetIndia earlier.

Congratulations on your efficiency! As always, you are the best service provider in India today. Believe it or not, recently I told manashosting that znetindia is the overall best service provider in the business. I hope you will scale greater heights as people become more computer literate, and begin to launch their own websites.

😠 THE WORST WEBHOSTING COMPANY IN INDIA, WITHOUT ANY DOUBT.

They have a very careless and casual attitude toward their clients.The customer support is the worst.
I had many such encounters. Site will go down for long long hours without any information.
There will be continously some or other error, which the incompetent support staff is unable to handle, and do not wish to respond or reply. there is no accountability regarding the resolution of tickets submitted.
I had few urgent issues regarding my hosting, and the errors till today since two months stand unresolved. I am really having a very horrifying experience with them.

moreover for last 2 days the site is not responding and showing 'under construction.
I had submitted so many reminders and ticket without a single response from them.

not recommended at all. One should avoid any contact with such companies.They are only interested in sales and advertising, and their support is a BIG ZERO.

😠 Their forcefull renewal system is really not good and against ethics. I registerd 4 Domains with 4 hosting plancs, since, 3 of them were of no use to me i did not opt for renewal, still force fully these plans were renewed and my domain was blocked by them for ever. Also they charge 100 Rs for renewal of domain names. Its a trap if you enter this company

😠 Worst ever services, they claim to have 99.9% uptime which is bull shit, because we never experienced an uptime of more than 75%

😁 I am very impressed with some of your support staff, really those are the guys who are taking the much pain to resolve our issues from the very first day of our site setup with ZNET. They have helped me
to setup my site & supported me promptly to overcome the issues. I have hired a Tier 3 Hosting Plan & they supported me with my payment gateway setup, e-mail issues, he setup the awstats very same day on which I had requested. Thanks a lot to them.

Before that, I have searched many companies, but I found it interesting. After hosting with them you can take real experience of web hosting. Their plans are very affordable and useful.

😠 ZnetIndia is not following ethical business practices. I am the customer for more than year as well as business partner.

They charges in USD to Indian customers and due to that reason we have to pay the currency conversion charges.

Their payment system sucks. The frequently changing the payment gateways and that creates hurdles.

As a business partner the experience was really bad. They never take initiative to release the payment on time.

They cancel the sales order even though it is tracked properly by giving one or another reason. There is no term and condition mentioned while affiliate join the program. When they generate the sales, they give reasons for not giving the commission.

Never join ZnetIndia Affiliate Partner Program.

😉 I'm using a 'developer' plan - while everything else is good, Znet's server downtime seems to be anywhere between 10-15% of the time. While they are courteous whenever I have called up enquiring about why my site/cpanel is down, the fact remains that no site can afford a 10% plus downtime environment.

😠 Price was the only thing going for them. I figured all hosting services are the same so why not go with their low price. BIG MISTAKE.

If you plan to have a simple HTML website then these guys are great. If you want anything more than that e.g. ASP.Net, extensionless URLs (expected standard feature these days), etc., then these guys don't know what they are doing. I had my site hosted with them for 6+ months and it didn't work right for a single day. It took weeks (no kidding) for them to give me the right FTP Id and password. Finally I had to move it back to an American based hosting service and voila it works right from day one.

Avoid these guys if you can.

😠 Very bad service. Once you paid you are in trapped. Stay away from this hosting company. No one care about customers. All time new person ask for problem wasting your time & give excuse that the concern person is not there and will assist in Morning and in morning where ever you call them, you got reply that he is in meeting.

The site name they use as there customers are FAKE, I personally check few sites and found that they are with other service providers.

😠 Hi, My name is sandeep i hosted my web with ZNETINDIA and also few of my clients website in here, ZNETINDIA lacks giving proper customer support. Either they are not qualified or that company hires some cheap skills for cheap cost and provide cheap service saying that it as cheapest price. They dont have sufficient knowledge to provide support. In my case i had some issues in configuring php. Literally i had begged to ZNETINDIA to provide the support as it was an urgent requirement from my customer, but it all fell on deaf ears. ZNETINDIA has to understand that people are not posting comments here to bring down there buisness, they should improve there services and make things working fine instead wasting time around posting SELF Appreciating comments. Hope this review has added value for our precious time loving friends. Thank you

😠 I bought a domain name. Wasn't activated. No sales person was available. They advertise as ISO 9001 company. I grade as 2nd class company . awful service. All they have is "sorry and concerned person is unavailable".

The lesson that I learnt, Look at the populr websites, find where they are hosted and the companies which host them, check reviews and then choose your service provider.
